How it works
The MicroSecure™ Card Reader simplifies the way you do business by reducing the amount of information you have to manually record and decreasing the time it takes to process a transaction by up to 75%. That means you’ll be able to service more customers and make more sales! Plus, your transactions will be more secure and your customers will be more likely to do business with you.
Below is a brief overview of how the MicroSecure™ Card Reader works.
Mobile Transactions

1. Swipe customers’ cards
Swipe customer cards through the MicroSecure™ Card Reader. A green light means the card was read successfully.

2. Record last 4 digits of the card, cardholder name, and amount
Record some basic card information so you can match up the transaction when you’re back at your computer. ProPay provides a downloadable log or you can use your own order forms.

3. Plug in device
When you get home, plug the MicroSecure™ Card Reader into the USB port on your computer.

4. Login to ProPay and launch MicroSecure™ Card Reader software
Login to ProPay and launch the MicroSecure™ Card Reader software. The interface will automatically detect if you have the most recent version of the software.

5. Process cards
Your transactions will appear one at a time. Enter the amount of the transaction and an optional invoice number. No more entering card numbers.

Real-time transactions
|
|
You can also process transactions in real time. Just plug a MicroSecure™ Card Reader into an internet-enabled computer, swipe a card, and enter the amount. You’ll get a real-time authorization for that transaction.
